Zep has been a qualified solicitor since 1986 and is recognised as one of Wales’ most experienced litigators, having represented a wide range of clients in complex and high-value legal matters. Before taking on his current role, Zep spent 20 years running one of Wales’ largest law firms. Today, he oversees the business on a day-to-day basis, working closely with clients, associated law firms and specialist experts to ensure matters are handled efficiently and with the right expertise from the outset. A highly experienced and determined litigator, Zep particularly enjoys the challenge of resolving difficult legal situations. His experience spans multi-million-pound commercial disputes, employment matters, insolvency, family disputes and criminal defence. Clients value his straightforward approach, strong work ethic and determination to achieve the best possible outcome. After almost four decades in the legal profession, Zep combines extensive practical experience with a genuine commitment to providing clear advice, effective legal solutions and excellent value for clients. His greatest professional passion remains fighting his clients’ corner and mentoring the next generation of lawyers. Away from legal practice, Zep is committed to supporting the communities in which he works. He is the elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Newport’s Business Improvement District, representing more than 600 local businesses. Outside work, Zep is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his partner, two sons, dog and two cats — and remains a lifelong Chelsea FC supporter.
